Technologies have been accelerating company transformation, bringing a whole new dimension to their organization. Information systems are no longer considered a mere back-office support to companies. They now integrate strategic functions that help communicate with clients, suppliers, employees and key partners. Enterprise Solutions (e.g. ERP, BI, B2B systems) together with a business process approach have become essential elements to guarantee the success of major transformation programs. Furthermore Information Technologies enable the diffusion of new business models based on sustainable cooperative environments for providing new customer centred services and products.
